Earth Hour!

On the 28th of March, we are celebrating a very meaningful hour, the Earth Hour.It is held between 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Earth Hour is a time where people saves electricity by switching off as many electric items as possible. I think it is a very important occasion as we need to take action on climate change. I will take part in this activity actively. My family and I went to the park for a night walk and we brought a torch along. I think it is a very interesting thing to do.

My Exams Results and School is reopening soon!

Hi everyone, my exam results were out. I scored 29.5/50 for English, 48.5/50 for Mathematics, 74.5/90 for Chinese and 46/50 for Science... I think I scored quite well for Mathematics and Science, but not as good for English and Chinese. Two more days and school is reopening. I will be as busy as before...

Dear cousin,
How are you? I had a very interesting thing to share with you about! It is about Singapore's history. About two weeks ago on the 25th of February, my class went to Old Ford Factory and Bukit Chandu for an NE learning journey.
When we first reached Old Ford Factory, we watched a muitimedia video about how Japanese ruled Singapore during the World War II. In one of the video, Lt Adnan fought very bravely and I was very touched that even his bullets went off, he still continued fighting with his fist and encouraging his soldiers not to give up. That was what I enjoy watching most!

I did not like the part when the Japanese hang the soldiers and Lt Adnan's body on the trees with their heads upside down. I think it was a little bit too scary. I learn that it is very important that we ourselves must defend Singapore and not to wait for others to defend our own country. That also reminds me that no one owes Singapore a living. I learnt that we should depend on ourselves.

As an andersonian, the SPICES means a lot to me. For example, I can do my homework properly and hand it up on time. These actions possesses self-discipline and passion for learning. When I do something wrongly, I can admit my mistakes and reflect on what I had done wrong. This can also reflect on courage, integrity and also the sincerity/sincere in admitting the mistakes. I can also do something for the school and make the school proud and this is excellence. By doing these, I can then become a better person.
